The exhibition "123 Polish posters you don’t want to miss" is a curatorial selection of the best known works of Polish graphic design from 1945-2000. Among the presented prints there will be canonical works of the Polish school of poster art, but also projects outside the mainstream, rediscovered after years, among them advertising, political and social posters so rarely presented today. All the works qualified for the exhibition are not only a showcase of the Polish poster in the 2nd half of the 20th century, but also the rich collection of the Poster Museum at Wilanów. Among the authors of the displayed projects are the most well-known and titled masters of the genre: Roman Cieślewicz, Eryk Lipiński, Jan Lenica, Jan Młodożeniec, Józef Mroszczak, Waldemar Świerzy, Henryk Tomaszewski. On the other hand, the posters selected by the curatorial team according to the qualitative criteria are devoted to historically representative cultural, social and political events.
